The source of most psychological problems is the lack of self acceptance…Many people live their life as their own worst enemy rather than being their own best friend.

Self acceptance depends on freedom from judgments and expectations learned from the social environment… And these beliefs asserts itself by claiming to know what is “best” for us… If we don’t meet these expectations, we often attack our self in painful ways… However it is our intuitive mind which offers us the acceptance we need… But our socially conditioned mind accuses the intuitive mind of being irrational and foolish… Our socially conditioned mind aggressively usually wins the argument and as a result it becomes the dominant perception of who we are… But the intuitive mind is far more intelligent and wiser in ways not recognized by our socially conditioned mind.

Change most often occurs when our socially expectation self fails and been humiliated by its efforts to be in control … We may give up by letting go of the controls of our socially conditioned mind… Much to our surprise we may find the intuitive mind as a welcome change… Instead of the thought process by the socially conditioned mind, our intuitive mind expresses itself through feelings…. And intuition can act as a compass to guide us in a direction most truly our self… Once we trust our intuitive feelings, they become our dominant orientation while our rational mind plays a secondary role by helping us deal with the practicalities of life.
