“The only real valuable thing is intuition.”~Albert Einstein

Intuition is receiving images and ideas without knowing exactly how and where they came from. You simply know it is not from your conscious mind.It does involve additional subconscious sensors to perceive and receive information from outside the conscious mind. Sometimes it is referred to as gut feeling, sixth sense, inner sense, instinct, inner voice, spiritual guide.

The conscious mind and its five senses can only perceive an illusion of very small parts of what is happening…it is incapable being aware of the large picture or the interconnection of all life and the Universe….however our subconscious can offer us the missing sense of relatedness and oneness… and this source of awareness is by its intuitive powers.

“Intuition is the clear conception of the whole at once.”~Johann Kaspar Lavater

“Intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”~Albert Einstein

“Intuition is a spiritual faculty and does not explain, but simply points the way.” ~Florence Scovel Shinn

“All great men are gifted with intuition. They know without reasoning or analysis, what they need to know.”~Alexis Carrel

“Intuition comes very close to clairvoyance; it appears to be the extrasensory perception of reality.” ~Alexis Carrel

“You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into
the wilderness of your intuition. What you’ll discover
will be wonderful. What you’ll discover is yourself.”~Alan Alda

“It is always with excitement that I wake up in the morning
wondering what my Intuition will toss up to me, like gifts
from the sea. I work with it and rely on it. It’s my partner.”~Dr. Jonas Salk

“Intuition is the supra-logic that cuts out all the routine processes of thought and leaps straight from the problem to the answer.”~Robert Graves

  1. my gut feeling (ahem) has been that in the sleep state, without the brain requiring great effort to interpret outside stimulus, the superability of the unconscious manifests in a way that would confuse and disorient us in the conscious state. there is not necessarily, or even typically, divine intervention or outside agency that provides insight or intuition. It is the same with prophecy. Not to dismiss a prophet who may be influenced by an outside agency or intuition that may also be the result of this, but on a more basic and useful level to the common human individual, one is processing at incredible rate information that in the morning or early afternoon results in intuition.

Was any of that redundant or rhetorical sounding? The writer hopes not. The author Frank Herbert dealt with this question at great length, especially prophecy and intuition as part of the same coin related to hidden abilities and not necessarily hidden energies outside of ourselves.. Present conflicts among religious groups often center around the question of intuition and prophecy.

  2. This is a great message to all of us who are discovering are minds and souls.Evan
