SUBCONSCIOUS DREAMS

dreaming

When we fall asleep our rational mind surrenders to the irrational world of the subconscious…and where subconscious feelings can be expressed through illogical images and strange stories…the feelings of the dream are selected by their importance to us and the images are selected from the huge subconscious memory and metaphorically are related to the feelings… resulting in an important subconscious message and not just a crazy fantasy.

Leaving the rational world by itself can be a disturbing experience…we spend much of our wakening time trying to make rational sense of our life….one of the primary functions of the rational mind is to rationalize what is happening to us so it seems logical and feels we are in control…this illusion is suspended in our dreams and we experience a deeper awareness where life becomes irrational and beyond our control.
