Albert Einstein was probably not only the most significant scientist of the twentieth century but was also an outstanding philosopher and a true mystic…his theory of relativity changed the direction of science by moving it toward a more holistic view of life and the universe…this trend was continued by Niels Bohr who developed the concept of quantum physics…all of these developments gave new importance to the role of the right brain…this can be clearly seen in Albert Einstein’s view of our need to change our consciousness of a separate self.

“The most beautiful and profound emotion we can experience is the sensation of the mystical. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder (inner child ) and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead. To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty, which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their primitive forms – this knowledge, this feeling, is at the center of true religion.”

“A human being is part of the whole called by us universe (right brain perception ) … We experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness.(left brain perception )
This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from the prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.(right brain identification )

The true value of a human being is determined by the measure and the sense in which they have obtained liberation from the self (ego ). We shall require a substantially new manner of thinking if humanity is to survive.”(right brain conversion )

Albert Einstein’s fifth grade teacher told his parents that he was ‘stupid’ and incapable of learning. Albert had demonstrated an inability to take tests and to get passing grades. His teacher recommended they place Albert in a workhouse. Sometime later, he began to study the violin (right brain activity ). Years later Albert credited his genius to the violin. Whenever he would get stumped while working on a formula, the answer would come to him while playing his violin.
