  1. Marion,

“Unless we become as a little child we would not see nor enter the kingdom of God… and a little child shall lead them.”~Bible

Carpe Diem….Usually translated from the Latin as ‘seize the day’, or sometimes as ‘enjoy the day, pluck the day when it is ripe’.

  2. Hard for culturally conditioned humans to swim against the prevailing current of human knowledge and opinions as to what is “Real”; after all, they might be ostracized by those holding the common opinion.

In this story of the Emperor’s New Clothes, I’m reminded of a verse in the bible (and probably in other traditions as well) that says we can not know the “truth” except as we become as little children…who in the story declared that the emperor was naked?

We are the Emperor, we are the people; we are also the child. Dare to be different…Carpe Diem! …marion
