SUBCONSCIOUS IDENTITY

“A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” ~Albert Einstein

From early infancy we are exposed to a contagious and fictitious social process which downloads into our mind the belief we are a rather small and insignificant self or ego…it blinds us from the realization we are all truly interrelated to a vast intelligence called the Universe…instead we come to believe we are a separate self with responsibility for our behavior and the need to conform to social expectations.

We further assume our conscious awareness is in control of our thoughts, feelings, and decisions…and that there is an ego observer acting as controller of what we are experiencing and doing…such extraordinary power we have given our self !…we have little interest in the subconscious process believing it is only active in dreams when sleeping in the night.

Little do we realize that our conscious awareness covers only a very small surface area of the subconscious process…and more importantly the subconscious is the producer and director of all we are experiencing in our conscious awareness…our consciousness is essentially a servant of the subconscious…this must come as a shock to our very pompous but vulnerable ego.

“The true value of a human being is determined by the measure and the sense in which they have obtained liberation from the self”~ Albert Einstein
